According to a research, Britney Spears was the subject of most online searches this decade by British users. The result was drawn from search engine Ask.com by British users. The star rose to fame at very start of her career and topped the charts in early 2000. Even though she got into lot of trouble for few years, she sure came out as a winner with her comeback by the end of the decade.

Following her in the top searches over the net is Osama Bin Laden who got the popularity post 9/11 attacks at the second position and David Beckham at the third position.
